My little 5 pound chihuahua had no hesitation, and went right in and fell asleep. She normally fusses and moves around several times to try to find the right position to sleep, but not with this bed. Very soft, and despite some of the reviews that mentioned hard to clean, I had no trouble. Delicate cycle wash, low temp dry, good and soft as new. Maybe you need to read the directions! The only negative I would say is that it doesn't have a really firm, flat bottom, so your pet might roll over a little if she moves around. I just butted it up against a chair and that was that. Way cheaper and just as good for a small pet.

I wash the one my lil dogs had and it wouldn't dry and started to stink from not drying so I bought this one. They love it! I finally got the other one to dry and got the wet smell out so now they use both of them. They're comfortable, fluffy, warm, cozy, great quality, and they last, I keep them both on the edge of my bed and they use them ALL the time! You have to get your baby's these! You may have to get them to trust it sometimes I carried them in it and put treats in it until they got used to it now I have to drag them out of it at times lol only problem is you can't wash in machine must spot clean cause if you soak it it will not dry well n smell horrible. Took me days to get it dry n then days to get the wet bomb smell out with alot of sprays of pillow mist from bath and body works best thing ever!

Our cat, like most cats, loves to find hiding places for napping. I got this for my daughter's cat at Christmas. It's nice and plushy and looks cozy. Sadly, this cat just wasn't interested and never went in it. We think it was because this bed wasn't nearly as deep as it looks in the pics, and was too shallow to offer the kind of dark cave he likes. His body would have completely filled up the cave, with no hiding possible. This may be perfect for a smaller cat or a less choosy one. If the maker ever creates a cat bed that's about 10" deeper than this, we'll want one.

So this thing is great! It didn't smell like some fabric items do. It came well-packaged and fluffed up easily. The top isn't super stiff. There is no wire or mechanism to hold the top open. It's just super stuffed and that makes it stay open. It is soft and feels great. My 10-lb Yorkie dog loves to nest in blankets, so I was certain she would LOVE this, but she didn't. This is shaped kind of like an ice cream cone - wider in the front and narrowing throughout the length, though it doesn't narrow to a sharp point. It just narrows a little. Anyway, I think the narrow end felt tight to her. She would go in head first but then could not easily get turned around so she could lay with her head out and her body in. If your dog or cat is just a little smaller than mine and loves to nest, this thing is awesome. It didn't work for me because of the size of my dog.

I purchased this hoping my kitty, who loves to burrow under my blankets, would feel right at home. I read plenty of reviews that said the bed was a bit small, but that was okay because my cat was the smallest things ever! However, once I purchased it, my kitty wouldn't go in, even when I put her inside she would jump right out. She'd prefer to lie right on top, which - by the way - collapses easily enough. By that time it was past its return date, so I donated it to a local cat charity. A few months later, the owner tells me that one cat in particular had claimed the bed as her own. Now this struck me as odd since this particular cat was larger than my kitten, but in the end, it all comes down to the cat's preferences. My cat her whole life would rather play with a tape measure and crinkled brown packing paper than cat toys and burrows - and yes, she still burrows under the covers, so I would say that it all depends on your cat. It is very plush but does not hold its roof shape very well - I copied someone else's idea to put a curved board on the inside to support it. For a $25 bed, I was hoping it would be more comfortable to a wider variety of cats, not such a select few.

We - myself and Feli (my Torty) - love it! The bag is built well and looks good on a dark couch. Feli required some coaxing to get inside. I tossed a few treats all the way in and she snuck in and decided to hang in there. The opening can collapse and turn the bag into a thick blanket. This happened and Gigi the Orange squatted on the bag. Feli had no option but to sleep with her sister on top of the bag like a plebe. But the next day, I placed the bag near the couch's arm rest and squished a cushion on the side so that the opening was wide and stayed that way. Feli entered and slept the night. She now knows it's a sleeping cave and she uses it quite regularly.

I don’t typically write reviews but this little cat cave is great. My cat loves it. The material is soft and plush. It has a lot of cushion and I think he likes that the front is more open. More like a sleeping bag than a cave. He’s not one to burrow or go under blankets so I wasn’t sure he’d like it but it’s been a hit. He sleeps in all day.

This is a small pet bed. I originally ordered this to place inside an outdoor cat house but it's really small. One of my indoor cats who weighs 8 lbs can fit inside but none of the others who weigh 10 lbs or more fit inside. They do try to sleep on top of it so it's not entirely a wasted item. Occasionally I foster/rescue weeks-old kittens that would benefit the use of the bed since it's cave shape would help retain heat. It is a very soft, comfortable bed. It's just not large enough for anything over 8 lbs. At least it was on sale for $18 when I purchased it otherwise I would've sent it back if it had cost full price.

Bought three (3) of these and they are the best beds for my kitties I have ever bought. "THEY JUST LOVE IT"... and they look very cozy and cute in it...!!! yeah it is quite expensive but it is worth every penny. :-D

I buy a lot of things, but this super dog cave has saved me from being woken up several times a night by a cold little dog. She just gets in and is snuggly warm all night, though because she is tiny at just over 2kg I do put a little blanket in as well to fill the space a little. She loves it and so do I.

My little boy loves to sleep under a blanket, pillow or anything he can hide under. So we bought him this bed and he loves it. It is very soft and nice and warm. My boy is just under 8 lbs. And it's a perfect size for him. He curls up in the back and stays nice and warm.
