Work as expected. Price half that of big box stores.
I vent 2 bathrooms into a single vent out the roof. I needed to install these on each side to prevent backdraft. I disconnect the pipe at the roof vent and installed these then turned on the fan before reconnecting. The flappers opened and worked as expected. Added benefit was the gasket on the flapper. I'm sure the seal is not perfect however it is good enough for what i need. They fit into the existing 4" duct work without issues. Availability was key, local stores did not have anything like these in stock.

They seem to work just fine
I elected to vent two bathroom exhaust fans through a single roof vent. I installed these backdraft dampers to ensure exhaust from each bathroom traveled out the roof vent and didn't travel into the other bathroom. These dampers appear to meet my objective. I didn't venture onto the roof to see how much air volume is exiting the roof vent, but I ran each fan individually and checked the non-running fan opening for an signs of air movement from the fan into the room and didn't detect any. You need to install these dampers in a horizontal position and that took a few minutes to get right in my situation. Other than that , they installed easily with some clamps and foil tape.

These worked great. The gasket keeps any flow from backdraft Just note that they only fit over female end.

Becareful shipping
One of backdraft dampers was bent making it work improperly. Other than that the other one worked ok.
