Always great quality from Phillips hue. Although the price is quite high. Works really well with the app

Really good light which we used for behind a picture. We had to curve it loose at the corners otherwise you can damage it. A good length for what we needed it for. It did away the need for a table lamp, and instead gives a modern look. Can’t wait to change the colours for a Halloween look.

Second time I've had to return this faulty lightstrip. Appauling customer service and when I finally get through and go through the futile steps for 2hrs 12 mins, they hang up! I'm now stuck with one set of lights outwith the 30 day return policy set by Amazon and another that I'm hoping to return. These products are expensive and not fit for purpose!

This is worth the extra, to get the Gradient version. The colour transition is much more pleasant. The strip is excellent quality, it’s easy to trim. Functionality via the app is superb. It looks a hundred times better than cheaper strips. It doesn’t stick very well though, keeps unpeeling itself. Will have to purchase third party tape for this.

I have been a Hue owner for many years, but this is the first time we invested in a light strip. After getting new furniture with limited plug sockets available, this was the obvious choice to create fantastic mood lighting with a gradient of three different colours. It was relatively easy to install, however the strip is "stiffer" than cheaper brands so bear that in mind if you want it to bend around corners, it might not work so well. It stuck to our furniture just fine, but surface preparation is everything for a good adhesion. A polished surface will stick better than a textured one. Make sure you dust and wipe first. Connectivity was a breeze, just do it through the app.

Love the Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip effects and it's easy to setup, various beautiful gradient color effects can be set on the Philips Hue app, connection with Philips Hue Bridge are very stable, works well with Google Assistant. Smart lighting is already in the consumer market for almost 10 years, I truly hope Philips Hue products price can be more affordable, it's too expensive still compare to other brands which has similar features. Yes, it’s pricey, but it’s worth it. I purchased two of these—one for a cabinet and one for the back of my desk. I had to cut one to fit, which was a bit intimidating, but I had no problems as long as I used the triangle markers. I rated it three stars because the 3M tape is incredibly frustrating and ineffective. It comes in small sections, making it difficult to peel in tight spaces, and it doesn’t adhere well to glass or wood. I ended up using super glue and buying some 3M tape instead. Hue support is not great, interactions over Facebook are limited. I’d go for a different brand next time.

I had one already in my light setup but was changing everything and decided to look for alternative as I needed a lot of length for my idea and that meant a lot of money. Went with Govee. Well that was a mistake. Had to tear everything down again, order more Hue because you cannot beat Hue. The colours are from another world. The fluidity, transitions between segments, functionality are just amazing. Yes, they are pricey but you get what you paid for (same goes for govee lol). Works with everything seamless. Got my gaming pc setup with screen mirroring, got my automations. Just seamless and perfect. And for someone who’s obsessed with getting a great colour, nothing can match Hue
