can you wash the microfiber cloth? mine has sticky stuff on it from the tape that was on it?

At some point, you are going to want to wash the Microfiber Cloth, just to remove dust and residue. Some say not to use fabric softener though. I use water heat on the medium setting and they come out fine. Happy Customer of an excellent product.

Can this product be used to clean eye glasses?

I use my jewelry cleaner for my eyeglasses but, I don't see why not. I clean my glass picture frames, TV screens, mirrors, computer screens with this product. Stays clean for a very long time.

So to clean the cloth it is ok to use regular deterent just not ones with fabric softener?

If you already use fabric softener in your washer and/or dryer, you’d be better off washing this with clean liquid dish soap and hanging to dry. Fabric softeners distribute a waxy coating on fabric to make things feel soft and remove static. Just as perfumes from laundry products coat the inside of your machines, so does the wax from fabric softeners. It takes a number of runs (hot water, white vinegar) to remove from your washer. I don’t use softeners at all, but it’s such a pain to run something small like this that I just wash by hand with Ivory soap and warm water, then hang to dry. Comes out perfectly clean for using.
