I want to buy a projector stand for outdoor use, I do not know if this one is suitable

Is this stable enough for 6-pound 16-inch laptop? Don't want any risk of stand collapsing and dropping laptop.

It worked for a 10 inch projector and was a little loose. I would probably go a different direction, choosing one that’s a better quality and sturdier. I would have but time wasn’t on my side.

Can you put your phone in the horizontal position in the phone holder?

Yes adjustable to just about any configuration you would need . The holder is connected to the stem with a ball/pivot point that allows all types of positioning
