Jolen creme bleach pot - Made in USA - 30ml

I used this on my forearms, because my hair is very dark when I'm out of the sun during the fall and winter months. I used to use Sally's, but they changed the formula, and reviews said it didn't work well anymore. One review mentioned this brand, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm very satisfied with the results. One mixture was enough to do the tops of my forearms. I followed the directions and had no issues. My hair took the full 10 minutes to get bleached. I didn't have any burning, and there was only slight reddening on the inside of my forearm where the skin is extra sensitive. I applied some aloe right after and the redness has disappeared. I did not have any sensitivity afterwards. I am happy with this product and will buy again when needed.

I have quite a bit of arm hair that's pretty visible against my pale skin. I tried a test patch on my arm and had no issues so went ahead and did a whole arm. I could have left it on longer, (I did probably around 8 minutes total for most of the arm) but I am quite sensitive and it became unbearably itchy for me (no pain though). That being said, I found it worthwhile and will probably go a bit longer next time. I have attached some photos comparing a bleached and unbleached arm. I will say that in person, in natural lighting, to me, the bleached hair appears even less visible than in photo (the last photo was taken with flash on).

Jolen is the best facial bleach on the market. I’ve been using this product since I turned eleven years old; I am 77 years old. I use it on my face especially the upper lip where there has always been darker hair! I use it every two-three weeks last 3-4 months!

It finally worked on my hair, but took half an hour, far longer than the 8 minutes the instructions suggested. I kept taking it off to see under it and then putting it all back on. I will use more developer next time and hopefully it will work faster.

I tried Jolen Bleach Cream and it worked pretty well. It was easy to mix and apply, and it didn’t irritate my skin. After using it, my facial hair looked lighter and less noticeable. The smell is a bit strong, but it goes away quickly. My skin felt smooth afterward, and I didn’t have any redness or burning. It might take a couple of uses to get the best results. Overall, it’s easy to use, gentle, and does what it says. Don’t leave it on for too long’ follow the instructions

To be honest, even with all the positive reviews, I was skeptical. So much so, I bought this a year ago and just now tried it. I wanted to use this on my forearms. I have dark, long hair everywhere. My arms were never any different. Then I started using shampoo and conditioner to help some regrowth on my head. Well, when you use that in the shower, it runs down and “helps” other areas. Long story short, I started to get Chewbacca arms. So, finally go for it. I try a small patch because I’m worried it’s going to burn my sensitive skin, especially since it’s winter in the dry north Midwest. No issues. So I slap this on one arm for the minimum 8 minutes, didn’t want to push it. This worked almost perfectly. Even in thicker/longer spots, it still worked great. And it rinses off easily. I wish I took a before/after picture. But my reaction was “holy cow, my arms are so pasty white!” Because they had been hiding under this dark sheet of hair. I could see my skin again. This will become my go to. And between both arms, I can easily get two uses out of one box. So yes, highly recommend!

Compared to Sally Hansen which the activator dries out very quickly, I bought this in July 2024 & the activator is kept air tight in a good rubber cap sealed container. HOWEVER! 3 stars only because when I want to ensure good seal on the Creme, as I twisted the cap on, the container snapped off. And now the whole kit is garbage.

It works well. I love the results on my face.
