MB QUART 12In Shallow Subwoofer

Good subs on a budget. They won’t handle a lot of power, worked good with my cheap Hifonics 1000 watt Zeus, but when put up against a real amp. D4S JP13, they did not last long, one woofer started clapping, the other burnt up a voice coil within two months of booking up the JP13. They performed great with a low powered amp.

I bought this when looking for a shallow sub and was highly impressed. I used a prefab truck box for a single 12 and this hits harder than the kicker comp that I had before. I've had it installed for 2 weeks and zero problems so far. It hits the lower frequencies decently and does vibrate the rear view mirror a little bit. Will update if it quits, but I hope this lasts a few years. So far, it's worth the money. I have it wired positive to positive(on the back) and hooked up to a VAAM2000-1 class d amplifier turned down to about 25% gain. Being a 200w rms/400w max speaker, don't push it too hard and it should last.

Good quality, perfect fit in my shallow mount box. I'm not running a competition setup, but with my current setup it has crisp, clean sound is loud enough for me.
