Natural Factors DGL Licorice 400 mg Digestive Support*, 90 Chewable Tablets

I purchased these because of my stomach. They really help me a lot. Although I like the taste of licorice the taste of these tablets is not the best. HOWEVER that does not stop me from taking them, as they help with reflux and upset stomach a lot. You do NOT swallow this like a pill they are meant to be chewed up fine. I simply park one in y mouth and let it melt and it works right away. I would purchase this product again

I started taking these chewable DGL tablets to help manage intestinal swelling and overall stomach comfort. They dissolve quickly and provide some relief. I take them twice a day to soothe my stomach lining. It seems to be effective since my stomach is a lot less bloated. The texture isn't overly chalky, and the flavor is surprisingly pleasant and easy to take compared to other brands I've tried. They taste and smell slightly like anise. It has easily become a permanent staple in my daily wellness routine.

I had acid rebound from taking Pepcid for 30 days straight to fix my histamine intolerance. I was deep in a Google rabbit hole one night and stumbled across this DGL supplement and after reading the reviews I ordered it immediately. Reader, THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!!! I have only been using it for 4 days but I have not had one incident of acid rebound since I started using it and I have completely stopped using the Pepcid. I can’t believe it works so quickly. My stomach feels soothed and settled. I even had my first Dr Pepper in 2 months last night! I haven’t been able to drink anything carbonated or acidic since 2 months ago due to the acid rebound. I’m so impressed by how well this has worked I will tell everyone I know about it. It’s great for nausea and a queasy stomach too. I chew one into a paste 3 times a day (20 minutes before a meal), and love the licorice flavor. It’s not strong and tastes like candy to me. I give this a 10000/10 and highly recommend this if you have any type of stomach or gastrointestinal issues. It will definitely help!

Good for your gut but it’s a lot to chew: I can handle black licorice flavor, but there’s a lot of it

I'm taking sucralfate for a soarness in my throat from past acid reflux and acidic foods in general (mainly coffee). The sucralfate doesnt seem to help as much as I'd hoped (3 weeks now) so I turned to Amazon for something that could help.... I genuinely can't believe how much this DGL Licorice works. I feel the mucus stimulation immediately and it tastes great. I only hope it's not just blocking the pain, though I can't glean anything in that ingredients that would do that. I THINK this is genuinely healing my throat.

I don’t know what happened to quality control on this batch, but this is hands down the most disgusting thing I have ever put in my mouth. I’m familiar with herbal supplements and chewables, but these don't taste like licorice root at all. They taste like pure, melted, synthetic plastic. The chemical aftertaste is vile, clings to the back of your throat for hours, and literally made me gag. Either Natural Factors changed their formulation to include straight chemical garbage, or this bottle sat baking in an unconditioned warehouse or a 120-degree delivery truck until the bottle itself leached into the chewables. It feels completely unsafe to ingest. I choked down two before realizing just how rancid they were, and now I’m stuck trying to get a refund for a completely defective, ruined product. Do not waste your money on this seller. Total disaster. Zero stars if I could.

I have severe acid reflux, mostly at night. I've been consciously raising the bed by 5 inches and taking 40mg of Famotidine before bed, but I still experience heartburn every night. Recently, I switched to taking one DGL tablet and 20mg of Famotidine 30 minutes before bed, and the heartburn has significantly improved and lasted much shorter. For me, that's considered effective.

Have been using these Natural Factors DGL chewable tablets for a few days now and so far so good .Yes they have helped ease my indigestition problems. Eased them not completely gone away. However because of the relief I have gotten so far I believe with continued use total relief is on its way. I know some have mentioned the taste but that has not been a problem for me.

Would highly recommend this. Have been taking this every day and have seen a drastic change in the acidity patterns that I had. It has reduced drastically and has also helped me get of antacids.

I find it gives me a soothing affect whenever I take one when my stomach is feeling a little off. I do take one nightly at dinner for the same affect.
