Can you apply a clear glaze over these? Since they are already glossy alone?

Underglaze is not glossy by itself. You paint it on green ware then fire it to the "bisque" temperature for the clay you are using. Then you apply an "over glaze", usually clear, either matte or glossy and fire it a second time, according to the temp necessary for the over glaze. This is usually done on "low fire" pottery, at cones 05 to 06. But certain underglaze colors will high fire (usually cone 5 or 6). Check the label. You would need a high fire clear overglaze, then. These are under glazes. Paint 3 coats. You can paint them on green ware or on bisque. Then after bisque firing, they will need a glaze and final firing. If you paint these on bisque, you can add a clear glaze after the under glazes and fire them for final glaze firing.
