Is it an instant bronzer due to the iodine in it?

Potassium iodine is an ingredient, but I’m not sure if that’s the main reason of the instant tanning.

Would you recommend applying this to your face as well when tanning at the salon?

I have never tried that.. But I also cover my face with a towel when I tan in the bed.

Can this formula be used in the sun also?

I would assume b/c if you're laying out in the sun directly youre going to get some color so put this on to get more of a golden color........
