**Q: Has anyone else found that the kit was missing numerous parts? Like an entire parts tree?**
A: No, all the parts were there in mine.  What parts were missing? Was the box sealed? Mine was shrink wrapped.

**Q: How many approximate hours to build for a novice?**
A: For an absolute novice?  I would estimate 40 hours.  It is a more complex kit, but the instructions are straight-forward.  Since the model is molded in multiple colors, it is easy to build the model without painting and still get a very nice-looking result.  That makes it easy, because otherwise you have to be very careful what *not* to paint so that the assemblies will glue together.  There is a lot of part clean-up needed before assembly, because the molds date back to the late 50s.  It is a fun build.

**Q: Would this be suitable as a gift to an adult to be displayed on a desk?**
A: I bought it for my husband to put together and display
