I've got two of these. I've tested lots of splitters. I've had them burn on me or not work. This one is reliable, and does what it says. It has the lowest profile of any splitter due to the 90 degree bend. When running it constantly it can get hot, and when it gets hot enough it slows down or shuts off. I've put one in front of an air vent, and that seems to help quite a bit. But for this product to be perfect it would need a small built-in fan to keep it cool. This is for the USB-A model only. I haven't tried the USB-C model.
