Asia Classic, Laminated: Wall Maps Continents

This map of Asia is 38" tall and 32" wide. See the pen in the bottom of my image for scale. The lamination is good and overhangs the border by about 3/8". As in other NatGeo maps, the text is clear and easy to read, the country borders are colour coded and disputed borders are marked by red dotted lines. All characters are from the modern English alphabet (sorry, no Chinese characters, Cyrillic script, etc). As the copyright date of the map is 2014, you can expect the names of places to be current, with former names/spellings in brackets. For the geography nerds, the projection is oblique parabolic equal area and the scale is 1:13,812,000. Pardon the reflections in the image. There were lights directly in front of the map.

Very detailed and nice size

Compact enough for an adult to hold up and engage with. Sturdy, laminated and lightweight. I put it on a clothes hanger with two clips and I can display it in different places around the house where I’ve put up various 3M removable hooks.

This map looks amazing on my classroom wall, and my students love to use it. Many of them come from Asia, and this map has become a star attraction. It’s well made, well laid out, and the lamination is perfect.

Map is a perfect size for a small office space. The officer is very impressed with the map.
