Purchase and delivery were simple and seamless. The size is perfect for a full oil change with filter. The oil just seems to be of a higher quality than other oils and has even seemed to quiet down some engine noise. The jug has a nice pour spout that comes out of the container. Only time will tell how well it protects the engine, but so far, so good.

I put this into a scooter (171cc) for it's first oil change and surprisingly, I noticed that it was actually running smoother and revved up ever so nicely. The oil is red in color -- like transmission oil -- and smells a little bit like detergent. I doesn't even really smell like oil at all. My scooter motor has a flat cylinder configuration, so it tends to get the oil dirtier more quickly -- or, or I am told. Anyway, I just checked it at about 700 miles from the last change and, although it was getting a little dirty, it was still very thick and very slippery. I think I am gonna stick with Motul; especially because it might just keep my engine cleaner, much better than other oils. My oil changes are required by manufacturer every 1000 miles, which is quite often but the little extra expense might be worth it in the long run.

I’m a fan started using Motul last year, immediately obtained smoother shifting, better fuel economy and a better sound quality to the three bikes I started using it in. A 500cc twin cyl a 1200 twin cyl and a 450 single cyl. I was slow to jump on synthetic bandwagon, but I’m a believer now and will use only Motul product. Bikes run better, really noticeable on cold starts how quick the engine settles down. Highly recommend this product.

Butter smooth shifting! If you have any bike that shifts a bit hard, try this. Made my DCT Africa Twin go from bad to excellent shifting! Worth the money!
