Diamine Shimmering Golden Sands Ink 50 ml

It's an amazing color with its shimmer, but just keep in mind, if you don't keep the pen tip down, while holding it in pocket, the tip might clog up because of the shimmer, when you try to write, it will skip or won't write at all, so you shouldn't keep it in your shirt pocket, top of pen will dry it out, make it worse, but the ink is phenomenal, I do mix my inks so it can be different for you, the less shimmer, no clogging

This ink can be used as a highlighter or as a regular everyday riding ink. If you use a thicker knob, it almost looks like a brown. It drys very fast, so left-hand writer should be OK. It is loaded with shimmer so you will see it at all times. Surprisingly my extra fine nibs don’t clog, but the shimmer doesn’t come through as much but you can kinda still see a little bit so I would probably say the shimmer does not compromise the flow or the color.

This ink is awesome!! I love the sparkle. I mixed with another ink and bam!! If you like glitter get it!! Dries fast with my lanyard stub 1.5 !!

This is a gorgeous ink thus far. I have used this with a glass pen with a fine nib. This ink dries fairly quickly, which is great for this left handed side/over writer. The color is vibrant and the shimmer is amazing. It provides beautiful depth to the writing and drawing. The only drawback is that it must be constantly shaken to get the full effect. Did I mention the gold shimmer? Lovely product.

This ink is gorgeous. Because my fountain pen's nib is broken, I'm using this with a dip pen, so your mileage may vary. I find that it is very necessary to shake the bottle well to mix the shimmery bits through the ink. Because I'm dipping, at first the ink is dark, almost black, but lightens to gray fairly quickly. I love the way the ink lays down on the paper—use quality paper, please. Even when I used it with my fountain pen before I dropped the nib on a hardwood floor, the shimmer inclusions did not gum up with works of the pen or clog the feed. I'm very pleased, and when I get my replacement pen, I will definitely buy more of this in other colors!

I really do enjoy this ink, as it really is quite beautiful after it dries. You have to use a non absorbent paper such as tomoe river, or clairefontaine otherwise the sparkle soaks into the page and disappears. Few things I have noticed are as follows. 1 if you don't use a wet writing pen the color is more yellow than golden. It is best for medium or broad nib sizes. 2 it dries kind of slowly, that's probably due to the lesser absorbent paper. This could be a problem if you're trying to write something down quickly and then close your notebook or turn the page, however if you want to see that sparkle it's worth the wait. 3 it is not water resistant at all, but this doesn't bother me because I don't really need to worry about water getting on my page. 4 I didn't leave it in my fountain pen for very long (2weeks or so) so I didn't have this problem but I've heard shimmering inks can clog pens on occasion, especially finer sized nibs. It was a bit difficult getting all the shimmer out of the feed in my twsbi vac700r demonstrator, but boy did it look BEAUTIFUL sloshing around inside. Like liquid gold! All in all a really pretty ink, I only remove one star for it looking more yellow in pens that dont write wet.

Fantastic emerald green with silver shimmer that doesn’t clog my pen. The ink dries well, and doesn’t smear overly easy. You will need to shake your pen often if you want the shimmer effect to be consistent, but it writes well regardless.

This is a beautiful ink that really does look like swirling liquid gold when you shake the bottle. The catch is that even with a medium nib pen, the output is very dry and scratchy on higher-end coated papers (like in a Mnemosyne journal). Ironically, it works a lot better on uncoated regular papers, which is weird. This ink also needs a lot of periodic pen shaking or swirling as the micro-glitter settles out within seconds. I have not had clogging issues due to the glitter, but I tend to lightly shake the pen every minute or so. Just a few gentle back and forth moves is all you need - don't shake it hard enough to splash ink out. So it's a cool ink - perhaps ideal for a dip pen - but it is definitely finicky for a fountain pen.

Esta tinta es la monda. Bueno, más en serio, la he probado y dá un color oro bastante bien conseguido. La he comparado con tinta oro AladinE para caligrafía para pluma no estilográfica y dá un tono ligeramente más intenso, y siendo como es ésta para pluma estilográfica, la encuentro muy práctica, sumamente recomendable y a muy buen precio. El dorado que dá no es liso, es más bien tipo brillantina/purpurina, pero es lo que hay con estas tintas. Tarda un tiempo en secar, pero cuando lo hace, queda estupenda. Hay que recordar agitar el tintero bien antes de cargar de tinta, y la pluma antes de escribir, para volver a poner en suspensión las partículas doradas. Eso es un poco latoso, pero merece bien la pena visto el resultado.

J'aime beaucoup la couleur, il faut souvent mélanger la bouteille sinon les nacres se retrouve au fond du flacon Peut être un peu cher pour ce que c'est ? 🤔😉

mais elle passe dans un stylo à plume sans souci. Préférer une plume large car l'encre est relativement claire. Bien agiter avant usage CAPUCHON FERME ! ;)
