Sending the gasket material rolled up is not a good idea.
Gasket arrived. Some of it is damaged as it is too thick to be rolled up as it was.

Worked very well
I bought this because I was replacing the water pump on my classic Fiat. I snapped a bolt while installing the new pump and had to remove it. Well, ordering a new gasket from the specialty supplier (can't just get it at the parts store) was going to cast me $3.59 plus $21 for shipping. I traced the old gasket on this material, cut it out and installed it. I wasn't difficult and there are no leaks.
