Rabbit Wine and Beverage Bottle Stoppers with Grip Top (Assorted Colors, Set of 4)

I had these now for a while and wanted to leave a review after being certain. I tested these with multiple champagne, Prosecco, white wine, and red wine bottles. They never came off, they never popped, they never caused any issues, and cleaning them is very easy. I am not sure why some had negative experiences, but with the following common-sense rules, these are perfect: 1) push them in all the way, not just a little. These are plugs, not covers. 2) Open bottles belong in a fridge. 3) Open bottles have to stand, not lie flat or at an angle.

We have a few other bottle stoppers but they don't give as good a seal as these do, I'm very glad I bought these! The colors are bright and they fit snugly inside of the wine bottle. I even tried laying the bottle on it's side and the stopper held fast with no leaks. I made sure that the stopper were down inside of the bottle as far down as it would go leaving enough of the top to pull up and they worked great. The bottom of these rubbery stoppers are flexible and the top has a stainless steel core for stability which also makes them easy to use and remove,...they provide a very good seal. These come in a very nice hard plastic case with see-thru top, which along with a nice bottle of wine would make a very nice gift! If by chance you happen to have a bit of leftover wine, or maybe you opened a second bottle that you just aren't quite able to finish, one of these bottle stoppers would do the trick keeping your wine fresh until you're able to finish the bottle. *Update 6/24/17- These are still my favorite bottle stoppers, I'm so glad I bought them! No leaking and wine stays stays fresh inside of the bottle until I open it again. I love these stoppers! I bought a 'fancy' stopper that had a small piece of geo rock on top from my daughters work, but I found it didn't seal correctly & I wasn't able to store the bottle on it's side or stand it up on the refrigerator shelf (made bottle too tall). I went right back to using these stoppers again. They also seem to last forever, I have only used the pink one since I bought these since it still hasn't worn out!

Such a great purchase and one of those things you wonder why you didn't buy sooner. I used to just shove the original cork back into unfinished wine bottles and hope for the best — these Rabbit Metrokane stoppers have completely changed that and I'll never go back to the old way. The grip top design is really well thought out. It makes pushing the stopper in and pulling it back out again so easy — no struggling, no awkward gripping, just a smooth and satisfying seal every time. They fit snugly into standard wine and beverage bottles without any fuss and once they're in you can feel that the seal is properly secure. The most important test of course is how well they actually preserve the wine and I'm really happy to report they do the job brilliantly. Wine kept with these stoppers tastes noticeably fresher the next day compared to just using the cork — the difference is genuinely noticeable especially with whites and rosés. I've kept bottles for two to three days and the wine has held up really well each time. Getting a set of 4 is really practical — I keep one in each open bottle and still have spares which is handy when you have a few different bottles on the go. The assorted colours are a fun touch too, makes it easy to tell bottles apart at a glance and they look quite stylish sitting in the bottle rather than the messy look of a re-inserted cork. They're also easy to clean — just a quick rinse and they're good to go again. Solid, well made little product from a brand that clearly knows what they're doing. Great value for a set of four. Highly recommend to any wine lover.
