After using them some of the nail hook (? Name) on the shutter flaps and /or main pole came out.They are awful to replace! It was difficult for me to line up the previous nail holes to stick the new one in. We did manage to do it on several shutter flaps but I did order this product just in case. So today I noticed a pesky flap was not attached. I used this product and within seconds attached it to the pole and the shutter flap. It was SO EASY!!!! I will have to see how long it lasts as the heat and sun in Florida is practically year round.and windows really heat up. The little package is a bit pricey so I am hoping there is a long life ahead for this product.Update: 6/26/20. I applied this to one of the plantation shutter β€œflap and pole almost 2 yrs ago. I had to apply a new one today so the original one lasted almost 2 yrs. i think that is pretty good considering the variable temps in my area. Today it is 96 but feels like 106, a few months ago it was down to the 20s.
