It simply works for my Mini Cooper 2013.
Being used in a 2013 Mini Cooper with an iPhoneSE2020. My plug in iphone adapter cable gave up, so I purchased what I thought was the same cable....but, it prevented using Siri to work correctly and it's was having issues only after a few weeks. So, I found this little black paddle Bluetooth device that does everything my old adapter cable did, minus the charging of the iPhone. I keep a basic charging cable in the vehicle, along with a cigarette lighter adapter, for use when needed. (charging the phone does not interrupt the bluetooth from working). Most times, I don't need to charge up my phone on the drive to work and back, so this is okay. Small, black paddle, little blue light and a voice that gently says the "Bluetooth is connected successfully" For the price I'm happy with it. I've adjusted my tone controls to brighten up the compressed audio sound. At least now I can run Waze (navigation), Pandora and Siri at the same time without issues.

This is the one for my 2013 Mini Cooper
I was looking for a solution to connect my music /podcasts (via my iPhone) to my 2013 Mini, because I'm not a fan of local radio or paying for satellite radio. I tried connecting via bluetooth, usb and aux, and nothing seemed to work. Then I discovered that the trick is to connect to ALL THREE at the same time - with this gadget. I plugged it into my car's usb and aux (which are located next to one another in my console), then connected via bluetooth to my phone. It worked in a matter of seconds. Now all I have to do is choose "aux" mode on my car and I'm instantly connected (as long as my phone's bluetooth is on). I think the sound quality is really good - especially if I increase the volume on my phone vs. the car's audio. There are trade-offs - you have to control things with your phone, vs. your car's controls, but it is SO worth it to finally be able to play my own music.

Plug & play solution to Bluetooth AUX
Works perfectly with 2010 BMW E90. Plugs right in to the center console AUX and USB ports. I only had to set up the device once, now my phone connects automatically when I get in the car. Only downside is that you have to control the music playback on your device and not through the car.

Fixes an annoying issue with BMWs from the 08-11 yrs
My '10 335i has Bluetooth for calls but to get it for auto requires an expensive software update at the dealer. But in the center console theres a perfect usb next to the aux port and this lil device hides perfectly and the sound is way better than the radio jamming type of bluetooth adapters. The ONLY downside for the bmw owners using this is the USB in the center console doesnt turn off when the car is off like the other ports. So if you have your BT on and happen to be playing somethings as you walk by your car, the device will pair to the phone. So you have to unplug the usb side when you get out, not a big deal, but of course bmw wouldnt make things perfect for ya haha either way this is way worth the 25$ instead of the 300$ software upgrade at bmw

It works but at a cost…
I bought this for my mini to prevent having to plug in my phone every time I want to listen to music. While it’s simple and easy to connect and use, the sound quality is atrocious. If I could give the sound quality a 0 start rating, I would. I will be sticking to my aux cord method for the foreseeable future.

YES
Yes you should buy this, no “CONNECTING TO BLUETOOTH” it just has a small ding notice, its very clear, NO STATIC. I cannot promise that everything you buy on amazon is going to be perfect so if you do have a funky purchase return it and try again, i have mine for my 08 e90 and it works !
