My mom has one just like it but hers is better made. I ordered this one thinking it would be similar, and although they are the same overall shape and design, mine didn't work.The magnet on the bottom that is supposed to make it so you can stick it to your fridge is not nearly strong enough to hold the weight of the sealer. It is useless.When I try to seal bags, I keep a steady pace and consistent pressure (I know how to use handheld sealers because I've used my mom's) and yet I can't get this to seal anything. It either melts holes in the bag or doesn't seal the bag, every time. I've tried sealing the same bags multiple times. Nothing seals using this sealer. I am definitely applying for a return.
