I'm extremely picky about journals. This one has far exceeded my expectations and has become my favorite journal easily. It's sturdy, the pages arent flimsy, the crest on the front holds well, and it's way more beautiful in person than in pictures. I'm over a quarter of the way into filling it and already looking at getting another one. Definitely worth the price.

Absolutely amazing journal! I wasn't sure what to expect and was feeling a little iffy about the price. When I got it, I was blown away. It's heavy, which to me means great craftsmanship. I LOVE the cover, too. I bought all 4 houses, and each one feels and looks exactly the same. Unfortunately, I bought this as a gift and there's a piece of wrapping that keeps me from opening up the book, but I'm going to say that the pages are probably great too. Great buy for any Harry Potter fan! I'm tempted to buy again just for me!

Bought this journal as a Christmas present for my 11-year old nephew who is obsessed with all things Slytherin and Harry Potter. His reaction when he opened his present on Christmas morning made this purchase worth every penny; I'm so glad I found this product on Amazon. It is very legitimate and elegant. The pages look like scroll-type paper that you see in the films. The crest on the front of the journal is sturdy and makes it feel far more expensive than it is. He loves this journal, and my sister is already having to order another for him because he's filled it up with his drawings and pages torn out for letters he writes to me. He LOVES this journal. I strongly recommend this one or any of the others from the other houses for the HP fan in your life. In fact, I'm thinking of getting myself the Ravenclaw journal!

I got this journal for as a birthday present for a friend who is a HUGE Slytherin fan, and she just loved it! Everything about this journal is awesome! It so well made, smooth, Harry Potter and Slytherin logos are exactly as the movie. The Slytherin insignia looks great! The Slytherin logo comes in printed on each sheet. Everything about this item is great, detailed, well made. I got excited when I first saw it and I don’t even like Slytherin that much! hehehehe This is a MUST for all Slytherin fans out there! I really wanted to return it but I really wanted to write in it. So what kept me from returning it? For one thing I pretty much written in it... but I do got to admit it is quiet well made but the quality control needs allot of work. As you can see from the picture the pages are glued incorrectly and now stuck on to the 1st page as well as the last page. It does bother me allot but I didn't felt like returning stuff again and again. I do remember ordering this before few years but had to return it since the strap was ripped out and I never order one again. Not only that it felt good to hold in my hands it doesn't feel cheap at all. The gold accent on journal is a nice touch as well. My favorite is the Slytherin emblem that sticks at that serves it purpose for the strap to keep the journal closed. I do however plan on ordering more of these journals as I try to finish my current one.

Great gift for my wife. Good quality of material on the cover. Looks good and impressed.

It's just as described and in absolutely perfect condition. the sides of the pages are lined with silver so when you look at it from the side you can see that which is super cool, and the badge on the front is very sturdy. The pages are decorated in a very old fashion, Harry Potter way which is also amazing, and the Slytherin trademark is printed at the top of every page which I love too. The black parts sometimes attract a bit of fluff easily because of the material it is, which is kind of annoying sometimes, but at the same time it's easy to just wipe off with your hand making it look like brand new again. Overall I'm pretty pleased with this, and as a proud Slytherin, I am definitely planning on using it every day. Don't know why anyone would vote below 5 stars.
