great quality, great price
UPDATE: worked great! I used it to help heal a toe fracture, which hadn’t budged (filled in with bone, that is) in two months. After doing daily poultices with this powder (mixed with water, applied directly to the toe) for several weeks, the follow-up x-ray showed that the toe was completely healed, the break had filled in. This comfrey powder was exactly what I had hoped for. It is a fine grind and the color is a beige brown, as it should be. Some reviews complain that it isn’t green - well, it’s not supposed to be! This is a ROOT powder - of course it won’t be green. When I mixed it with water it was very mucilagenous (again, as it should be) and perfect for my intended use. There were a few minor clumps in the product, which is not a reflection of its quality - just smooth them out with a spoon, or run the powder through a sifter/sieve! - and no different from the clumps that form in corn starch. I am perfectly pleased with this comfrey root powder, and would buy it again (sure beats digging out all the comfrey roots in my yard in the cold).

Great product.
This comfrey root powder is finely ground and has a clean, earthy scent that feels fresh and natural. It mixes well with my salves, poultices, and teas, and a little goes a long way. The quality is consistent, and it’s reassuring to know it’s organic and responsibly sourced. Just what I like and its a dependable herbal staple to keep on hand.

Bulk organic comfrey root powder, reasonably priced.
This is a good value for a pound of organic comfrey root powder. This is in a resealable bag though you might want to empty the powder into another storage container for convenience. The powder has multiple uses in herbal medicine and should be used just in small amounts based on recommended dosages if used internally. Comfrey is known as a bone builder and can help with bone issues and injuries.

Healing powers
My husband is almost 50 he hurt his arm horribly when he was 18 he fell out of a window and it cut deep into his arm. He’s always had trouble his entire life after watching Barbara O’Neill talk about the power of Comfrey root we started doing this every day for about a month, he has not had pain since this is an incredible product. We mix it with castor oil and let it sit overnight under a wrap.

It helped make my teeth feel better, but over time it had stained my teeth
I used it for a couple of things, boiled it then soaked my stubbed toe (damaged my joint), can't say that really helped me (don't know if I was using it wrong). But the main reason I got this was to heal my teeth. I had a few cavities that I needed to take care of, so I boiled some and swished it around my mouth. It helped make my teeth feel better, but over time it had stained my teeth. Not much at first, but I made the mistake of leaving some in my mouth overnight, and by morning, it had stained them brown. A little more every time. It was in streaks so I knew it was staining something on my tooth, not the enamel itself. I had no fear because I had positive results of getting plaque off with coconut oil in the past, so once I got home, I oil pulled and brushed, and immediately I could see a small difference. I oil pulled for an hour the night before a dentist teeth cleaning, left some in my mouth overnight, then oil pulled for another hour in the morning, and by the time the cleaning was done, they were shiny white! Four stars because not entirely sure what to think, on one side it kind of made my teeth feel better, but I don't want to use it again and risk staining my teeth. I'm scheduled to go to the dentist to finally fix my cavities, but I'm not sure what to think. Maybe I should give it another shot and really go hard on that diet, because I didn't really stay strict to the teeth-fixing diet. Disclaimer: I did not ingest all of the necessary ingredients to heal my teeth, and cheated a bit with bread a lot and sugar occasionally. I took blended eggshell most or every night before doing this as well. I had it, but don't remember if I always took the Blue Ice HVBO. Maybe now that I'm at home (and not vacation- was there for 2 months) and drink raw milk and a more steady diet I can make this work, who knows. I've had a history of bad teeth so even if I get the cavities filled, this might not be the end of this journey for me. I will though definitely be staying sugar free. Keep in mind that whatever raises blood sugar will pull calcium, so even some sugar substitutes like sugar alcohol will be bad for teeth.

Healing Blob
This is my second time ordering root powder Its a great product but requires a bit of experience using. There are chunks of powder, just crumple them up with your fingers until fine enough to blend. Boil water, let cool to hot but not scalding and add slowly to the powder until a paste forms. It will be a sticky blob, can't separate it, that's because comfrey root is so high in mucilage which contains the wonderful allantoin and rosmaric acid that heals like no other. I apply the blob to injury (NEVER on an open wound) as a poultice (find poultice making instructions on many websites) and let sit for at least 4 to 6 hours. I've used comfrey leaf, salves and creams for years, great for burns, insect bites, rashes. But for severe injury, such as breaks, sprains and strains, the root is the most effective healer due to the abundance of allantoin in the mucilage. The anti inflammatory rosmaric acid is the pain reliever. I only use it for a short time and never had any ill effects.
