It does well as a k cup brewer and the drip basket works better than any k cup adapter we have ever used. It can splash a little while it brews, but I can live with that.

I like the single cup pot for my computer room. Coffee comes out just fine. Be sure to push coffee pod down well or pot will not work. The on switch is a bit odd as it comes on above circle, but it works. Coffee tastes fine.

I have owned many coffee makers over the years. I 💕 love this one. I can use my Pod-cups or it has a basket for regular ground coffee. It is a tad noisy but I can live with that. I can brew a large 12oz coffee in a jiffy. I do use bottled water. My well water is wonderful but has a bit too many minerals for a coffee maker. I had 2 of the more expensive brand coffee makers, one leaked and the other conked out after a year. …You need this❗️🙂

It is difficult to clean, and requires cleaning every few days because the plastic and aluminum pods clogged the needles and often explode in the pod holder making a huge mess! Using compostable pods will eliminate the problem but they are most costly. I have several other Hamilton Beach appliances that are fantastic. Last week the coffee maker started acting up - turns off before full cup is brewed, and sometimes doesn't get hot enough for any water to drip. I couldn't get appropriate help on the seller's website so I called and reported the problem directly to Amazon, who is crediting me for the purchase. Also, their customer service does not accept phone calls - you do everything by email and the process is slow and rather pointless. Shop around, spend more money and get a machine that is well-designed, well-constructed and has a good warranty. I'm going with Keurig in the future. One person found this helpful

I like it a lot.. with two options of coffee strength and a higher water capacity than a lot of them I’m happy with it. The pump sounds strong and dependable(unlike the keurigs which sound like they will break at any moment ) The height of the unit makes it much more convenient for travel mugs and tumblers.

This single serve coffee maker is wonderful. It does the job. I like how you can brew a single cup either way.

I liked this coffee maker very much. Easy to use straight forward operation. worked great for then out of the blue it just stopped working and wont pump the water through any longer. I've had it about a year but still that's not good. its not clogged at all it just quit pumping. I would probably buy again but might try a different one not sure yet.

So much bet- works greater than kerig- when plugged which doesn't happen often it is so quick and easy to clean

Bought as a mother's day after my non coffee drinker self bought my mom a bag of ground coffee beans from Costa Rica instead of instant coffee LOL In my defence it looks the same. Anyways love the versatility she can use it to make ground coffee as well as the kcups. I recently got the Tim Hortons French Vanilla pods and it works great. We use boiled water that is refrigerated and it make it hot. Very quick and relatively quiet compared to the sounds of a boiling kettle that I am used too. Visiting family members also enjoyed using the machine, very simple to operate and clean. Hope the price is reflected in the longevity of the machine. I recently bought the cleaning pods, as I saw other reviews suggested using a cleaning pod once a month.

Cette Cafetière est géniale et à très bon prix, parfaite pour moi. Elle contient 2 modes d'infusion ,j'aime beaucoup, elle est compatible avec les dosettes et le café moulu. Mais je donne une note de 4/5 car au début elle avait une drôle d'odeur dans l'emplacement où on met l'eau. Cela donnais aussi un drole de gout . Petit truc, J'ai mis un peu de vinaigre blanc, un bouchon et J'ai fait couler l'eau à plusieurs reprises. Part la suite , j'ai ajouté un peu d'essence de vanille pour éliminer le goût du vinaigre. Voilà

We used to have the Hamilton Beach coffee maker that had both the pods and carafe! Since there's only two of us we just used the pod side. It was a amazing machine, no complaints at all . So we decided to get just the pod Hamilton Beach coffee maker and we are so extremely satisfied with this machine. The coffee tastes amazing, it's super hot, takes no time at all and is very quiet. We couldn't be happier. This is the coffee maker we will buy for life. Soooo happy!

Better than instant coffee but still lacks extraction. However, I did not try using Kcup pods. The problem is with the coffee grounds basket. I would suggest for future models to simply scrap the coffee grounds basket and replace it with a reusable Kcup pod (preferably in stainless) that has pre-drilled enter and exit holes that woul fit in the Kcup basket. This will surely create good extraction without having to resort to polluting plastic Kcups.
