Molykote G-n Metal Assembly Paste is a multi-purpose, heavy duty lubricating paste containing a blend of molybdenum disulfide and white solid lubricants in a mineral oil. It helps prevent galling during run-in, helps extend the service life of moving parts, and helps protect against fretting wear and corrosion as well as welding of static joints. Molykote G-n Metal Assembly Spray is a high-performance paste in aerosol form. It is particularly effective as a running-in lubricant. This product features a low coefficient of friction immediately upon application, without burnishing. Review: Works well with MEC reloader - I use this for certain parts of a reloading press. Works very well but I would avoid getting it on my hands if at all possible. A little bit definitely will go a long way and I doubt I'll need to reorder any for years to come. I use this for certain parts of a reloading press. Works very well but I would avoid getting it on my hands if at all possible. A little bit definitely will go a long way and I doubt I'll need to reorder any for years to come.

Used for silent block/bushing removal tool.
Bought this Molykote G-N assembly paste to lubricate the spindle and bushings of a silent block removal/installation tool. Seems to work well, the tool works smoothly with minimal force needed. This stuff is like a black paste that gets everywhere. I wore disposable gloves and applied the paste to the threaded parts making sure to coat 100% of the thread surface. Its a small tube of the paste but a little goes a long way so theres really no waste. When I was done using the tool I wiped all the paste off since im not sure if it will harden or dry out if left on.

Molykote G-n where have you been all my life? I do not know what to say, this stuff is amazing! It seems to have some sort of graphite mixed into a slick substance. It works fantastic for parts assembly, especially for SS hose and fittings. I would not call it a "grease", and definitely not a silicone. Just amazing stuff!
