The bamboo cover is so soft that I didn't want to put a pillow case on it. The pillow is just as soft but it still provides support. I bought this pillow for my son who is six and he thinks it's the greatest pillow ever. It supports his head no matter what awkward position he is sleeping in. On the plus side he actually woke up yesterday and I didn't have to give him his allergy meds. Not sure if that's pillow related or not but that's the only difference he had was a new pillow. This is day two of no allergy meds. The pillow fits great with his twin size bed set.I received this product at a discount or free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
