What does "Not Machine Specific" mean?

I will start by saying unless you saw this term in a video, I did not see this in the description. Saying that, however, I might guess that a "machine" or device is not needed to play with this toy. ?? We purchased this shape shifting box in different designs for our 94 year old mother and our four 9-12 year old grandchildren and they ALL loved playing with them. Mother was fascinated with it and very proud when she could 'solve' the puzzle. One child has ADHD and really enjoys playing with all the different designs. Keeps him focused for quite a while. I highly recommend this toy.
