This stuff is great for softening water for cleaning, laundry, floors, and everything else. Although I would NOT use it on aluminum. And I would test it in an inconspicuous place for ANYTHING you're not sure about. It cuts grease like nobody's business. I like to use it in hot but not scalding water with just a little Dawn Ultra. It's great for refurbishing dingy colors. It's NOT bleach, it alters the PH of the water depending on how much you add to the water. So if you have hard water this stuff is wonderful. I soak cleaning rags in my sink with this stuff, some detergent, and hot water. I use a big wooden spoon to stir it around for a couple of minutes and leave them to soak. Takes all the stains out. It's great for baby stains, it's non toxic. Soda Ash, or Washing Soda they are the same thing. Wear gloves because the of the PH, it can get to 11, depending on how much you use, and the amount of water.

Does as intended for tie dye

This is certainly a good value for money was received promptly the only issue I have is that there are no directions as to how it is to be mixed with water

I use this to make my laundry detergent. Works well, not toxic chemicals in my clothing now. I actually have a cleaner washing machine now as well.

It's a tub of soda ash. It works like soda ash. If you need soda ash, this product will work for you. Sorry that I can't muster more enthusiasm for a tub of soda ash.

Shirts turned out very vibrant!

I haven't used it yet but had some soda ash that came in an old tie dye kit some one gave me and it did make a big difference in the color intensity. We will see after washing them a couple times.
