The kit came in a proper package, with instructions and worked perfectly. The snaps much better quality than others I had tried and all rather effortless. Review: are only suitable for single-layer fabrics - a really useful tool with plenty of colours and easy to use. However, after trying the poppers out (opening and closing a few times) I found that some came out. After posting this review, I re-read the instructions to make sure the fault was not with me. I discovered that the instructions state 'these are only suitable for single-layer fabrics' A bit confusing because, as a dressmaker I always attach buttons, snaps etc to a double layer placket and I can't imagine any circumstance where I would attack poppers onto a single layer. They will attach to cotton fabric doubled over and hemmed.
