So half awake and sleep deprived I neglected to read into it as it's not meant for hondas past 2015. Once it arrived I tore open the package and proceeded to try and install but some thing was off ; that's when I looked at the description and realized my mistake. However all was not lost I was able to take out my floating cup holders (still have one in the hidden part of the middle console) and it fits just fine and slides back and forth with zero problem.
