Cost effective sound proof
I’m using this product for a DIY isolation cabinet for guitar. The product works very well with other noise cancelling materials. The tubes are 28 fl oz so you will need the large silicone gun. 1 tube covers a lot of area and goes on like regular silicone. I covered all the walls 4ft L x 3ft W x 3ft H and still have 2 tubes left over. I will be using this for all my other projects, definitely recommend.

Good product
I really like the way this stuff applies, it's not too thin or too think that it becomes hard to work with. It takes a few days before you can hear the sound proofing difference. I rate it -3 to 5db when completely dry. It also has screw on nozzles so when you go from one container to the next you can just screw on the previous one already filled with the compound (that saves on compound). Just as good as green glue IMO

Way too thin and soupy to stop transfer of sound.
I’ve used acoustic sealant in the past so I do have some experience with it. This stuff is not worth buying. It is a very watered down thin consistency. I have sound proof rooms before with acoustic sealant that is dense so when applying materials over it the sealant flattens but maintains it’s thickness to actually reduce sound transfer. This stuff might be good only for sealing holes and cracks not for actual sound transfer prevention on walls and ceiling installations. Stuck with all of this stuff might donate it to a charity that builds homes or something.

It works as intended.
This caulk is pretty good quality. It works way better than I expected its nice and thick. It takes about 24 hours to dry and the smell isn’t bad at all so you don’t have to leave when you’re done which is very helpful.
