Believe Me It’s Good – Amazon Find Edition We installed the TORCHSTAR LED Safe Lighting Kit in a closet instead of a safe and it worked great. The kit comes with 6 linkable LED light bars and a motion sensor so the lights automatically turn on when the door opens. Installation was simple and took about 10 minutes using the included double-sided tape. The kit also includes screws if you want a more permanent installation. The cables between lights were more than long enough and allowed us to run them almost a foot from the floor. The main power cord is roughly 4 feet long and we actually had extra length that needed to be coiled up. In our case we installed an outlet in the closet because we plan to place our WiFi router in there, so plugging it in was easy. The motion sensor is very sensitive — even a shadow can trigger it — so opening the door activates the lights instantly every time. The brightness is more than enough to fully light the entire closet as shown in the photo. Pros: • Very bright LED lights • Motion sensor works instantly • Plenty of cable length between lights • Multiple mounting options (adhesive or screws) Cons: • No cable management included for the wires (no zip ties or clips) Overall this kit works great and would be useful not only for safes but also closets, cabinets, or other dark spaces.

I have these in all three safes as well as every closet in the house. The low voltage / no heat nature of the lights along with the motion sensor to turn them on make them ideal closet lighting. These kits are as close to perfect as I could imagine. Easy to install, inexpensive, reliable, low voltage, and no fire hazard from light bulb heat. What's not to love?

The TORCHSTAR LED Safe Lighting Kit worked perfectly for my safe. Installation was simple, and the lights are bright enough to clearly see everything inside, even in the corners. The motion sensor is very responsive and makes it super convenient to access my safe at night. The quality feels solid, and it really upgraded the usability of my safe. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add lighting to theirs.

This lights are great, and well thought out, They install very easy, each light has a 3M tape the installs a velcro strip. The lights then simply attach to carpeted safe interior. They give you plenty of wire attachment allowing maximum flexibility. The lights are bright, and include a motion sensor that works great. It’s a must buy. FYI I am 70 and not to good at installing some thing but this o e was easy

Unit doesn’t light. Multiple text, emails, and dead end phone calls. My personal testing leads to a faulty motion sensor. I have requested a replacement part but the only response to date is request I send an additional video. I starting trying to fix this lighting kit 2/12/26 and now on 2/24/26 it’s still not working and no attempt made by torchstar to help me out. I really didn’t want a full time job only a quick retrofit on my safe. I’m disappointed! UPDATE….. ifinally received an email saying parts were coming to fix my problem. 3/4 parts arrived so I could complete the installation. IT WORKS!! The light is great and when the door opens turns on. Adhesive strips don’t stick to my safes inner felt type lining. I did need to screw on the individual light strips I would buy again but know it’s more challenging to install than I imagined. Thank you for standing behind your product TorchStar! Larry H

I bought this LED set to light up the interior of my safe. My safe is in my garage which has lights but they are not nearly bright enough to make finding things in the back of my safe easy. This set has six LED bars that come off of a motion sensor. The sensor has two power lines so the lights can be strung from a central point going opposite directions or the bars can be strung in a single chained line going one direction. My light set also contained spacer wires so the light bars could be spaced further apart to meet different configurations if needed. One nice feature besides the spacer wires is the fact that all the light bars and the sensor come with sticky tape on them. I had no problem mounting all the components to my safe walls which have the felt like covering most safes come with. So just a few things about the lights and installing them. First, these lights are very bright, far brighter than I expected and more than enough to light up my safe as you can see in the picture. My garage lights are on but the lights in the safe make them seem feeble. I mounted the lights going up the sides on the front inside corners and mounted the sensor on the side wall by the safe door. Play with the setup before pulling the sticky tape. Depending on the size of your safe you may want to arrange the lights differently and you don't want to ruin the adhesive on the tape before you are ready to mount them where you want them. Second, I suggest going to a craft or fabric store and getting some Velcro wrap, which is hook on one side and loop on the other so it's all one piece. I used this to secure and cover the longer run wires which: a) I think looks better and b) Keeps the wires safe and out of the way when putting things in or taking things out of the safe. One last thing, mount the sensor close to door where it is least likely to get blocked. I was tempted at first to hide it in the back where it would be less noticeable and less wire to hide, but as the safe fills up the sensor is less likely to see through the massive forest of steel barrels and stocks. I ended up mounting mine on the sidewall near the door opening and covered the wires with the Velcro tape. The sensor turns on when the door opens. To wrap it up, these lights are bright, easy to install, has flexible installation options, the sensor works great, and I would buy these again without question.

I love this lighting system for my safe. I was very easy to set up and the motion detector works flawlessly. The lighting is bright enough to light up my entire safe and was very easy to install. The cord tucked into the corners of my safe easily and it came with Velcro pieces that were easy to apply to the double sided tape that was on the lights themselves making the install that much easier and adjustable. I would highly recommend this kit for the price and ease of use you can't beat it.

Purchased these for my new safe. Installation was easy and the wiring connections make for a clean install. I like the three light color settings and using the middle setting accents the interior very well. There are three ways to mount, included double sided tape, included Velcro-like hook and loop strips that cling to the carpeted interior or with the included screws. These would also work well for under cabinet accent lights or as closet lighting. The only drawback that some people may find is the only ways to turn on is by turning the power outlet on/off or by using the included motion sensor. The motion sensor is perfect for my application, however, an optional on/off switch box with pre-wired connectors would be nice to have.
