I already own a cheap Chinese ratchet set, that tended to crush the connector more than create a good join. I used these on the same connectors and each time they produced a perfect connection. They also handle a lager range of wire guage than others I considered. The machining is also good in that the jaws line up well. These are single crimping in that you do the connection part of the crimp first, then the crimping of the wire insulation. Very pleased with my purchase.
