Here’s why I think the new Sploofy is even better than the previous model: *Shorter Length/No protruding mouthpiece: The previous model had a mouthpiece that protruded out of the cartridge holder, an external mouthpiece, which extended the length of the Sploofy by half an inch. This new model has a better design with the mouthpiece being level with the cartridge holder, so now it doesn’t protrude out further than the cartridge anymore. This change also shortened the length the Sploofy by half an inch, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but it is when you’re traveling with the Sploofy and have to store it in a small space, such as your purse, glove compartment, console, jacket pocket, etc. * Better overall design/Better mouthpiece: The design is much more seamless and attractive than the previous model. In addition to the mouthpiece being internal instead of external, the mouthpiece is also shaped much better which creates a much easier and better seal for exhaling into, which means less smoke can escape and leak out when exhaling. A very small amount may come out, but not enough to be noticeable. After a little practice, it is easy to use and does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is a bit too large for jean pockets, but it fits perfectly in a jacket pocket, so portability is not an issue for me. There is a small learning curve at first when exhaling into it, but once you get the hang of it, it works consistently. I also have not noticed any lingering smell, which is a big plus.
