Shure BLX14 Wireless Guitar System - H10 Band

Good sound quality, no interference….. however it is and feels real fragile other than that worth the money and good battery life

I’ve been playing guitar for over 60 years, and during all that time I never felt the need to go wireless. Recently I decided to try a few of the inexpensive wireless systems on the market. They worked “okay,” but there was always something missing in the sound quality. I tried some of the cheaper Chinese knockoffs and even one of the Boss units—better, but still not quite there. If you’re serious about sound and want reliability along with the best frequency options, the Shure BLX14 is the way to go. Our church has used Shure equipment for years, and having access to UHF frequency scanning is essential in environments filled with competing signals. With the BLX14, I can always lock into the cleanest channel and get the best performance possible. For anyone who values tone, consistency, and dependable wireless operation, this system is worth every penny.

This is Bob. Hear me now and listen to me later. I tried 4 different Wi-Fi systems both 2.4 and 5. Whatever. They all cut out. And, only during my most brilliant playing. So, after consulting with my doctors I popped for this. This is old school good. Zero drops. Make sure you check shure’s website for the best channel for your area. It looks kinda cool having the body pack on your strap. And, it sounds great. Two thumbs up.

So far, have used at two shows, and this is the best of 3 wireless guitar systems that I have tried.. my absolute favorite thing about it is it has its own frequency and channel search for the clearest frequency and channel at a particular location. This is unbelievably valuable. I played a huge show that could hold 1000 people and after searching the frequency, this considering all of the other iPads, iPhones, Wi-Fi including our own sound system and we all use wireless in ear monitors, this did not cut out one time and I was able to roam the entire place. I have tried the Roland as well as an audio technica and neither one have worked this well... advice to you... find out the best frequency for your area ( Shure has a service website where u can put in your zip code)... I bought this through pitbull audio via Amazon, have bought quite a few other not so expensive items from pitbull and so far pitbull has had outstanding quick delivery. Literally within two days I received the item to be able to use for weekend show. Very pleased... hi average for good size shows a month will do a follow up in another few months to talk about sustainability how it’s working then as well.

Bad static with bass guitar and it cuts my signal so much that it is not useable. Absolute garbage.

It sounds awesome but cuts out every few minutes on any channel. That's not acceptable for a wireless system.

Like there mics, this can take some abuse. You can buy cheaper wireless systems but why? This is very reliable.

After 3 months, both outputs on the unit stopped working. The unit was in a rack, in a rehearsal studio, and hadn't been moved. It cost $50 to ship for repair and will been gone for over a month. Looks like I'm touring with Sennheiser now.
