Crunch, Crunch...These Deep Fried Peanuts Hit the Spot
OMG, I was "introduced" to deep fried peanuts last year in Charleston and since then, I've been obsessed! Okay, first off, they are fried so not the healthiest snack in the woodshed but, if you crave salty snacks AND love crunch, this snack may be perfect for you. And yes, you can eat the whole peanut, shell and all, crunch, crunch! Think of all of the fiber! That was probably one of the high points for me, Uncle Bud's deep fried peanuts tasted fresh and had a good crunch. But, I would not recommend these snacks if you are on a limited salt diet! Second, liked the Cajun flavor for a change, especially since it's a little spicy, but not too spicy. But, keep in mind that everyone's taste buds are different. For example, I love sushi with lots of wasabi (green horseradish) and others don't. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

i like the old bay ones better but these are definitely also delicious, i recommend. they’re also not too spicy (but my spice tolerance is also pretty high)

Flavor is great
I loved those but got tired of them while I was eating them. Very salty and I felt that I liked them more when removing the shell before consuming.

Different Tastes For Different Folks
I basically like most all kinds of peanuts so I thought I would give these a try. Well, if you like eating seasoned/flavored shells this makes a nice crunchy snack. However, the peanuts themselves are very small so you get very little if any actual peanut flavor when you eat shell and all. And if you just eat the tiny peanuts by themselves you find that all the flavoring or seasoning is just on the shells - the tiny peanuts have very little flavor - other than I guess a slight plain roasted peanut flavor (for what flavor there is). After eating a few I thought about throwing the rest outside thinking maybe the squirrels, birds, or other critters might eat them. Then I thought, I wonder what would happen if I cooked the things like you would for preparing boiled peanuts, so I threw a small batch in a small pot with water, added a little salt and a little Cajun/creole seasoning (just a fraction of the amount compared to if you were preparing normal boiled peanuts from scratch with raw peanuts (and I didn't add any shrimp-crab boil liquid concentrate like I would for actually boiling raw peanuts from scratch)) and let the peanuts simmer about 1 to 1-1/2 hours (basically long enough for the shells to soften up). So I've been doing that and eating the tiny peanuts which then have a little more flavor from the brine mix. Still have some that I haven't fixed up yet, so don't know if I will continue to go through the hassle of preparing the rest or just go back to my original thought and throw them out for the critters. Definitely will not be purchasing any more.

My family loves these.
Very pricey for the amount. The peanuts are small; wish they had jumbos.

Great Flavor but Strange Texture
I love Cajun boiled peanuts but it takes effort to eat them and they're messy so I was excited to try these deep fried peanuts. Boy am I disappointed. You're supposed to be able to eat the entire peanut, shell and all. The flavor is great and so is the peanut but the shell tastes basically raw and is difficult to eat. I'm a big texture person so someone who isn't might enjoy these.

Delicious and was almost worth the wait! Just a bit too pricey for the weight.
