It is slim enough that it barely adds to the thickness of the case while being thick enough to provide protection. In addition to that, the hard rubber bumper is hard enough that it doesn't "peel away" from the edges providing a nice fit. In addition that that, the case provides great coverage on the bottom with precise cutouts for the ports and speakers.
