Clarks Men's Desert Boot Chukka Boot

This are the most uncomfortable shoes to stand in that I have ever worn. We recently went to standing work stations at work instead of sitting. My feet are killing me in only a few minutes. The width and length are perfect but there is no arch support - zero. I have added a half arch support but now the shoe is too tight. If I go up half a size the shoe is too long. If you need a good arch support do not get this shoe regardless of going up one size. Also, the heel slips horribly regardless of adding the arch support and the shoe being tight in the width. The shoe really needs more eyelets for tying because no matter how tight you pull the strings the heel still slips and gaves me blisters. I can't wear without band-aids first placed on my heels. Because this purchase is not directly from Clark or was a Prime purchase thru Amazon, you can't return the shoes if they have been worn. How do you know if shoes fit if you don't wear them? You are completely and entirely on your own with this vendor if you purchase from them.
