Devil went down to Macao
This collection has two stories in its with an annual at the end with two other tales. The first two parter features elektra, and is probably the better of the two. She is interestingly written, and the mystery of her daughter was good. It is the second arc in a row now with a mystery player setting things in motion, but I like what's going on enough that it doesn't bother me. The second arc is daredevil in Asia, and costars spiderman. It's fine, but nothing special. I did like the visual of the fight in Matt's landscape, but otherwise really rather unmemorable. He annual is fine, if abit easy in terms of resolution. All in all, another good collection of daredevil, and I'm in for more.

Could skip if needed.
It is a collection of a couple issues that are not really connected and not really important to the overall plot; however, it does show us going into some of his relationships of Daredevil with others. Like Spiderman and Electra after the whole secret identity thing is back to being secret. Overall could skip if you had to.

DD playing Texas Hold Em' is a must-read!!!
This was a fun little anthology; rather than have a single continuous story arc like in "Chinatown", we get smaller arcs of about two issues each. The first arc deals with Elekta's return, and the next has Matt Murdock travelling to Macau to secure a package containing something especially sensitive the only way he knows...gambling???!!!??? And who better to assist him than Peter Parker as Spider-Man? We also get a side story involving Echo and Ulysses Klaw, and another involving Melvin Potter aka Gladiator. All in all, though, this book is a must-read if you are liking All-new all-different Daredevil. Happy reading!

The Devil You Know
Daredevil's a character who's always had a strong supporting cast, and it was only a matter of time before Charles Soule brought more of these characters back into Matt's rebuilt life. Starting in the first arc of this book, the assassin Elektra, a former flame and enemy has made her way back to New York, and she's gunning for Daredevil. The question is, why? Then next, Matt travels to China to acquire a briefcase that belongs to Black Cat. Luckily Spider-Man, one of Daredevil's oldest superhero allies is there to help out. This volume also contains the Annual issue of the series by Soule and Roger McKenzie. These stories are good, but nothing special. Soule's story especially seems to lack the focus of his previous work. The book also leaves some questions unanswered. I can confirm that at least one of these mysteries is explained in a later volume and I expect the other will be in time. Matteo Buffagni takes over for art on the main part of the book and his work is an excellent compliment to Garney's in volume one. Overall this volume is good, but not as good as the previous book. Still, Soule has a handle on Daredevil that makes this series a standout. 4/5

Sense or senseless
I like how these stories pick up on the issues that Daredevil has in a digital world. Screens? Meaningless to him. Any flat surface could be a blank slate to him. Poker faces? Not so much.

Feels like the 80s again and Miller is writing. Back to basics for DD
Daredevil. Hells kitchen. The hand . Elektra. Throw in some guess stars, and old does, plus a great new black suit. It's the 80s again, when marvel was putting story before art.
