InSinkErator FLG-WH Sink Flange, White

Looks great in our white sink! Update: several years later and the white paint has chipped almost entirely off. Whack.

Looks great, fits perfectly, however, I do have an insinkerator garbage disposal so I assumed it would. Finish looks like it’s going to be durable, time will tell, but I do have it protected by a strainer. So far, very happy with the product!

I would give a zero if that were an option. I ordered the product the first time and within a couple weeks the coating started to peel off the base material at the edge of the lip. I returned the item for a replacement. The replacement came with a large gash in the side of it but this was in a location that didn't hurt anything. Now it has been about 8 months since it's been in use and the coating is starting to peel off again in a similar way as before. This piece does not see any harsh treatment or chemicals. It's installed on a kitchen sink on the side that we mainly use to collect dirty dishes and/or rinse dishes we have cleaned. The only way to treat it any better is to leave it in the package. I would buy a plain SS flange if we didn't have a white sink. Insinkerator needs to figure something out with this or am I the only one having issues?

Chipped somehow not I’m sure sure how common that is or how in the world it happened.

I know this product has mixed reviews for chipping, I had a black one in the past and it lasted for about a year. We decided to try the white and see how long before it starts chipping. We’ve had it for about two months and so far so good.
