Requires No Tools or Special Set Up - Just Hang Up and GO
After the foam padding came off our old pullup bar system and discovering that it was cheaper to purchase a new bar as opposed to buying new padding, we purchased the ProsourceFit Multi-Grip Lite Pull Up/Chin Up Bar to replace the old bar. The ProsourceFit Multi-Grip Pull Up Bar is an excellent replacement for our old bar. Unlike our old bar which was literally just a bar that was screwed into the doorframe, this bar is a full system with multiple grips so you can perform your pull-ups while isolating different muscles. You can perform the standard overhand and underhand grips, but this bar allows for the hammer grip where your palms face each other. Because of the bar extends past the doorframe, some may also be able to perform wider stance grips. As far as installation goes, the bar can be installed without the use of any tools - simply hang over the doorframe and you're ready to go. The only "complaint" I have with this bar is that I cannot close the door of our study with it in place - but it's a very minor complaint because it's easy enough to simply lift out of the doorway when needed. Overall, this is a very well-made pull-up bar that the son and husband enjoy using daily as part of their upper body workout. It's reasonably priced, well made, and something I would purchase again.

This is a really good piece of equipment. Assembly was easy, the instructions were pretty obvious and if necessary you can see the picture on the box and work from there. All the necessary hardware came in the box, including a hex key for installing the bolts and a precisely fitted wrench for holding the nut in place while you tighten the bolts. There are two sizes of bolt, one pair which attaches the crossbar, and a bunch of other ones which are exactly the same size and are used to assemble every other part of the bar. It's as easy as can be. Protip: If you put all the bolts on and just finger-tighten the nuts, you can be sure you have everything in its correct place before you use the hex key to make everything nice and sturdy. I didn't use the bracket with the wall anchors because I like to be able to take the bar down if necessary. This does work best on a door that has enough vertical room on the opposite side (the side away from the way you will be facing) for the padded crossbar to rest above whatever trim you have there. The part that gets rests on "your side" of the door is two plastic end-caps on the end of the curved pieces. These caps haven't marred my door trim, although like another review said, you can always place a little shim of cardboard there if it is something that concerns you. Once assembled, it is very sturdy and secure. Placed in the door per the instructions, it holds my 180lb weight with no problems. It does creak a little bit under my full weight, but at no point does it ever feel loose or insecure. All of the different grips give you plenty of options on which exercises you want to do. This piece of equipment is designed well, engineered well, and performs well. It is definitely worth the price.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Solid Pull-Up Bar for Home Workouts with a Few Minor Flaws
I’ve been using the ProsourceFit Pull Up Bar in my home gym for a couple of months now, and overall I’m really happy with it. It’s a great addition to my workout routine and gives me a lot of versatility for upper body training. First off, installation was pretty straightforward. With the included hardware and instructions, it didn’t take long to get the bar mounted and ready to use. The bar feels stable and secure once it’s in place, and I haven’t noticed any wobbling or shifting during use, even when I’m doing kipping pull-ups or leg raises. The grip padding is comfortable and keeps my hands from slipping, which is something I appreciated right away. It also makes it easier to work through longer pull-up sets without as much hand fatigue. I like that it’s designed for multi-use so I can do pull-ups, chin-ups, leg lifts, knee raises, even hanging core work without needing extra equipment. My only small complaints are that the installation hardware could be a bit more heavy-duty, and the instructions might be confusing if you aren’t familiar with mounting bars. I had to double-check a few steps online just to be sure I was doing it right. Also, if you have wider door frames or odd stud placements, you might need to do some extra measuring before you start drilling. Overall though, this pull-up bar delivers on what it promises. It’s sturdy, functional, and a solid value compared to more expensive options. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to add a pull-up station to their home gym without breaking the bank. Four stars!

GREAT product! Here to dispell doubts of purchasing due to 1-star ratings
Ok, let me start off by saying that I too, am one of the many that rarely leave reviews here. However, call me hypocritical, but I also tend to check the reviews of an item before buying as well. I saw this product months ago but was rather dispelled about the amount of 1 stars on here... As the Cyber Monday sales approached and saw this item as one of the flash sales, I knew I couldn't pass it up considering that I've wanted one of these bars for a long time. Anyway, I went through majority of the 1-star reviews on here and I have to say DO NOT listen to them. Majority of the complaints are due to difficulty of installing the product... I will let you know that it literally took me about 5 minutes from opening the box to putting it on my door. Albeit, I am a little bit more technically inclined than others due to an engineering background, however, these are SIMPLE instructions (Honestly I didn't even use them, if you ask quite a few of the people on here, I'm pretty sure most of us just looked at page 3 and just looked at the freaking picture that shows you what goes where lol). I'm almost positive my little sister can put this together in a matter of minutes. You need no personal tools considering the screws and allen key are included in the box. So in essence I agree with one of the other reviewers when I say if you can't follow these simple 5 step instructions on the sheet you're probably missing a few upstairs lol. The next complaint I read a lot had to deal with flimsy parts... Well for one, it holds me just fine. I mean I know I'm only 6'0 135 however, referencing back to my engineering background, I can EASILY tell it can hold another 50 lbs with no issue on MY door frame. If your door frame is very fragile, that might be the only issue however, this is not a discredit to the product considering it has nothing to do with the pull up bar but rather the door frame in your house lol. The second thing about the parts saying that they're cheap, well this is honestly I steal of a price for a great product I'm not exactly sure what laser-molded. diamond-encrusted parts you're looking for but for the price you're paying you're easily getting your moneys worth. Now one thing I read which is true is that if you have soft walls like mine, it can leave a ring (about quarter sized) on the side of the door frame from the stem that holds against the wall when it's put up (You'll see what I'm talking about when you get it). Just like the other reviewers have suggested, it's a quick fix.. put a towel or a spacer or something on the end of it on the wall and that takes care of that problem lol. I used a spacer. However once again, this has to do with the pressure of holding you and it's tension vs your wall strength. Not the products fault. If you guys have any other questions about it if you're debating it feel free to ask and I'll definitely respond because I know how it is when you're skeptical about a product and you have a bunch of 1-stars to discourage you.

Great pull up bar, well made, lots of options - also good for some pushus!
Went together easily, came with everything needed to put it together including a little wrench. Quality is very good, grips are comfortable. Will probably work in MOST standard door ways but if you live in certain areas of the country, older houses, etc, you might want to measure and look at the door jam to be sure. It DOES come with a set of L brackets that can be used to either make it more secure or in the case that your door molding is too slim to be safe. Once it's up, I have no doubts about safety. I just always give it a little test tug or two before I put my full weight on it to let it settle into place and to make sure everything's good. I like the multiple hand positions, that's a nice touch over some of the simpler designs I've seen. The design I'm thinking of in particular is the one that was marketed on TV a few years back which lacks the hoops on the front but is basically the same kinda thing as this one. As far as door damage. It's unavoidable that it's going to make a small indention or scratch some paint off. There is padding on the bar to help prevent that and so far I haven't noticed anything more than a little paint rubbed off. I'd imagine if you do kipping pull ups or something that you'd do a lot more damage (and this really isn't the right bar for that I'd think). If you do slow controlled pull ups, then this should be no problem. When I say door damage by the way, I'd say most people would never even notice it. Even on a bad day. Anyhow, common sense isn't too common. But if you have some, this is a good pull up bar. I will also say as a ending note that on the floor, it's not a bad place to do pushups either. Especially if you have bad wrists. The multiple hand placement options come in real handy here too. You can also get a little deeper than on the floor in this configuration (turn it upside down).

Strongly made, holds together great, variety of hand positions. 1 hole misaligned & easy fix
The main horizontal crossbar, and it's connecting bars, are made well and strong. It has some weight to it, you can feel the sturdiness & solidness of the metal and the connecting places where screws hold things together (I used my own ratchet & socket). I guess the holding/support bar that goes up above the door frame could be made several inches longer so as to give a more spread-out distribution of the person's weight, but my door frame has been holding up just fine the way it is too. If you'd have any uncertainties about your own door frame, go easy at first by slowly taking your weight off your legs until all of you is on the bar. The multiple places to put your hands is fantastic, awesome variety of positions and widths apart for such a simple concept of an exercise device, this makes the exercise benefit more extensive. The one and only flaw in the particular one I got is that a pair of screw holes in one bar was misaligned from the pair of holes in the bar it connected to, so a very simple fix is all it took by using my drill which I've included 2 pictures to show how simple that was. And oh yes, one last wonderfully thought-out detail: a few replacement screws are included in their own bag just in case something goes wrong with the screws that are already counted out for how many it needs, and I decided for kicks to include a picture of that too. :-)

Complete Chinese Garbage!
This is my first review on Amazon.com. I was so disappointed with this thing that I had to share my experience with others who might be fooled by the positive reviews here. I bought this to replace my Iron Gym bar which wore out after less than a year of moderate use. (The rubber handles shredded). I thought the Iron Gym was junk but this is even worse. At lease with the Iron, the cross bar that spans the doorway horizontally was a single piece of tubing. This horizontal tube and the two vertical bent cross-tubes are most important for weight bearing. Given the extended and wider handles of the Easy Gym unit, you'd think they would keep that single tube design - NOPE! The vertical cross-bar of this unit is actually three separate tubes that interlock via a poorly fitting and poorly machined tongue-in-groove design. When you insert the tube, you twist to "lock" the two pieces together. Unfortunately the so-called lock doesn't really lock and you end up with two weak links where the bars connect. As I was installing the wall support brackets, I lifted the unit from one side of the vertical support. Guess what? The whole thing fell apart in my hand! Obviously one of the interlocking pieces where not "properly" locked. I had to loosen the bolts and try again. This time triple-checking to ensure the parts locked by inserting and twisting with extra torque. This time the rubber end tore in my hand as I twisted the unit! Talk about low quality :( I reassembled and ensured the unit was as secure as possible given the flimsy design. Finally having drilled the bracket holes and mounted everything, I tried it out - OMG the whole unit sagged under my 190 pound lift using the horizontal handles. I then tried the extended handles and felt the entire unit bend and strain. I was literally scared to bend my knees in fear the unit would collapse! Now given the low price ($22) I paid, I wasn't expecting too much and knew I was taking a risk. But even I was shocked at how cheap and poorly designed this thing is. I am know back in the market and will pay more to find a solidly built bar. having learned my lesson. Please don't wast your time and money; and to ProSource - shame on you for selling this garbage.

Solid Doorway Pull-Up Bar, Just Protect Your Door Frame
I’ve had this ProsourceFit pull-up bar since 2019 and it’s held up really well over the years (it is now 2026). It fits securely on a standard door frame and feels sturdy when in use. Assembly was quick and straightforward, and once it’s set up, it doesn’t feel flimsy or unstable. I weigh around 170 lbs and haven’t had any issues with it supporting my weight. Pull-ups, chin-ups, and hanging exercises all feel solid, which is what matters most. That said, there are a couple things to be aware of. Over time, it can leave marks on the wall and rub down the paint on the door frame where it sits. I’d strongly recommend putting some cardboard, felt pads, or another type of protection between the bar and the frame if you care about keeping things pristine. Overall, it’s a sturdy, easy-to-use pull-up bar that’s lasted me years with no mechanical issues. Just be prepared to protect your door frame and walls, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Strong and secure bar, fits my wide doorways well.
This pull up bar has been extremely reliable for me over the last 4 months or so. It is bigger than most door way bars, so if you have wide doorways like I do, then it will still fit just fine. Make sure to double check the maximum widths before you purchase. I did find it a bit of a hassle to put together initially, but once I watched a YouTube tutorial briefly, everything went together fairly well. I found the instructions a bit hard to decipher. The tolerances on the pieces connecting are loose, so nothing will be exactly in line and you can push everything into place easily. The tools provided were a bit cheap, but functioned for what they needed to, which is to screw in the bolts and tighten it all together. Once it is built, the bar can easily be hooked onto the doorway, and taken off in a few seconds so the door can close fully. The bar itself is very high quality, the metal is strong and heavy, and the foam grips seem like they would take a while to wear down. I never once felt insecure when using the bar, although I would not want to swing on it. It works well for pull ups, chin ups, neutral pull ups. Since the bar is so long there are a variety of hand positions you can use. So wide or close grip pull ups are possible. It works for push ups on the ground if you need it to, and again felt very sturdy under my weight. According to the manual, the max weight supported is 130kg, although at 90KG once of my friends was causing it to creak quite a bit. So if you weigh more than 100KG I would be extremely careful. The bar does leave black marks on the wall above the doorway, and also on the sides wherever it touches the frame. They seem to clean off, but if you use it for a long period of time, it may be worth putting something thin in-between the doorway and black foam/rubber parts of the bar. I wouldn't advise to use this in rental properties or weak/old door frames, and if you are, be very careful. The bar can be dismantled, so if you want to use it for travel between places, it is possible. However there are probably smaller or cheaper ones that would be better to use for this purpose. Overall the bar is very secure and safe, and provides a lot of use for workouts. For £35 it was well worth it.

Works really well, good quality for price
I bought a couple to compare and for the price this was way better than the cheap ones. Fits in doorway fine, I’m 86kg and holds my weight well and I feel safe and secure. Love the amount of grip options too. Highly recommended
