How well does it wash? Does it fade or peel?

No peeling but I painted it on. Did was once and it did not fade yet :)

Would this show up on black fabric?

If you would like color to show on black fabric, a tip is to first paint with the white paint and then add your colored paint on top of the white for the best results.
