Amazing book
One of the best in this series. Probably in the top 3, along with plagues and coral reefs.

This book is amazing! It’s a comic, but it’s packed with real science facts, probably even more detailed than a middle school textbook on the digestive system. My kids usually don’t like science, but they actually read this one and enjoyed it. My 10-year-old daughter read it on her own, and I didn’t pressure her to memorize or understand everything. For her, it’s a fun first step into learning how our body works. But honestly, if a child reads this book a few times and remembers even half of it, they’ll know more than most middle schoolers about the digestive system! We love this book! It’s entertaining, educational, and makes science feel exciting instead of boring. And honestly, all the books in the Science Comics series are excellent. They make complex topics fun and easy for kids to understand. Highly recommend!

I lost my gallbladder and decided to learn more about the digestive system afterward. This may be a children's book, but I think it explains everything on a very basic level. Great for kids, or adults who are learning from scratch.

I bought 3 from these series and after going through them i will be purchasing more. Super edicational and beutifully illustrated. Everything is said in a way a child can understand. That’s a great way to make a child fascinated by science.
