Great train
My son loves trains and so I got this for him. I got this motorized train because it has the extra cars with cargo too. He has so much fun playing with it! It's pretty good on battery usage too.

The little engine that couldn't
This train works fine as long as it's on flat track. If your train set has bridges or hills that require it to go up then you may find out this locomotives weakness. It has the power however loses traction due to the plastic wheels so it just won't make it. Other than that the kids broke the switch in less than an hour so now it only goes backwards. Over all it's mostly plastic and the additional train cars are quite nice.

Just right for a toddler
My grandson loves this little Engine. 2 AAA batteries will last all day and they are securely in place as they have to be removed with a tiny screwdriver which is provided. Battery life is decent considering.

Works great, five stars. Just one caution; my long haired granddaughter got her hair wrapped around an axle, took some work to untangle it.

Very durable engine. Fast.
Received this order in good condition. The engine is fast even with a few trains hooked up to it. There is although, a concern about unscrewing the screw. It's not easy because the screwdriver provided will eventually strip and also when I first tried to unscrew it the first time to put the batteries in it, the screw was hard to take out. No child would be able to perform this task. I'm concerned when I replace the battery that the screw will be stripped completely.

Kids like the battery operated but needs more power. Has a hard time going up hill / over bridges. Won’t pull a lot of cars behind. Would help if you could connect two engines together. But there is not a magnetic on the front.
