Tea Zone 8.4 oz Golden Milk Tea Bag

I saw a recipe for bubble tea that used this so I brought it. Greatest purchase ever!! There was no twigs or anything like that. The tea has a slight vanilla flavor and my mother said that the cassia seeds smell like coffee (note that this doesn't make the tea taste like coffee). I haven't tried it alone, so I can't comment on its bitterness or as a stand alone tea. This tea makes more tea flavored bubble tea than the average's bubble tea shops that taste only like milk and sugar. I will have my recipe down below as well. Recipe: (1 liter) -25 grams of tea -1 liter of filtered water -80 grams of coffee creamer -50 grams of white sugar -50 grams of brown sugar 1. In a pot put the tea and water. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Take off the heat and let it sit with the lid on for 30 minutes. 2. In another bowl measure the white sugar, brown sugar and coffee creamer. Set aside. 3. Strain the tea with a strainer and paper towel. Slowly mix in the sugar/creamer mixture. 4. Add any toppings and ice into a cup. Then add the milk tea. 5. Enjoy! Leaving the milk tea (without toppings) in the fridge over night makes it taste better. However if you are like me you probably drink the whole liter in 4 hours.

Black tea with cassia seeds gives it that chocolate after taste! Great for boba tea!

I was looking for Hong Kong style milk tea I am used to. The taste is different and it is much milder taste, but the tea itself tastes good. Nice as a HK milk tea sub.

I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty this tea is. It’s not strong like some of the other brands that are out there, but it’s got a nice flavor to it similar to the chai tea. I got it because someone recommended it to me as I have rheumatoid arthritis. And it seems to help with the inflammation that I have. I definitely recommend trying this to you whether it’s because you want to deal with inflammation or you want the flavor. It’s a lighter flavor than that of chai tea but I like that because chai tea is sometimes too much for me. I think the only issue I have had with this so far is that I have a tea diffuser and it seems to leak out of the tea diffuser into the cup but that’s not necessarily the fault of the tea itself, but probably more than cultivate very cheap tea diffuser

Description mentions it's their signature blend for milk tea so I expected something traditional like pekoe/ceylon or hong kong style milk tea but it straight up tastes like oolong. I like oolong so its fine but I needed to get another pack for my normal milk tea brews.

Honestly, I didn't have high expectations when I bought this black tea, but it's surprisingly delicious! I've already gone through the whole pack, and I'm even sipping on it as I write this review. It's so flavorful that I don't even need to add sugar, making it a great option for when I'm watching my diet. Highly recommend!

Not even close to the traditional HongKong style milk tea which is strong, bold and has its unique signature multi-layer taste that most people will get hooked after trying it once. As other HK milk tea lover commented, this tea tastes like Oolong with a sour taste. Since it cannot be returned, it will go into the trash can!
