My dachshund loves this stuff. It is more like a syrup than gel consistency. A little on a toothbrush is all that is needed. When I call my doxie at night he runs right over to get his teeth brushed. He gets his teeth brushed every night and he lets me gently hold his mouth open as I brush. I also put some TropiClean Fresh breath gel on after the brushing. He doesn't have "dog breath" and his teeth at 4 1/2 years old are pearly white right down to his gums. His vet said that when dogs get dog breath it means their gums are becoming inflamed and they may be having discomfort chewing. Of course the dog cannot complain about mouth pain but do your best friend a favor and keep those teeth and gums healthy.

I bought this product a couple of days ago and I have to say I’m already smelling the results. I have literally tried everything from the bones, to adding the dental solution in the water and nothing has worked better. What makes everything so much easier is the fact that my dog loves the taste, I put it on her brush (even though you don’t have to) and she lets me. I strongly recmment it . Your dogs breath will thank you

I have used before and reordered. My dog won't let me use a toothbrush so I put gel on a cotton pad and wipe it firmly on teeth. It does help.

The minty smell might be nice for us, but I don’t think my pets appreciated it
