Sing Ring contains no lead. The brass used for the Sing Ring is certified to be free from harmful materials such as beryllium, chromium, cadmium, mercury, and--yes-- also free from lead. Thanks for the question!

Is there nickel in it?

I don't think so, cause I'm allergic to nickel and it hasn't changed colors.

What is the best way to clean or care for it?

Put in a hot cup of water for a few mins. All of the care are included in the instructions

Long term users, does it vetter your voice? How does it compare to a straw?

Straw has a bigger hole you dont even need any force to blow but with ths one as soon as you try it you can feel the difference.

Does what it says.

It does what it says. Warm ups are so easy with this and it helps breathing from the diaphragm. The only con is that all that "glitter" rubs away in two uses.

This is by far THE best tool I've ever had as a vocalist. EVERY singer should have one of these. I bought this for myself and then ended up buying one for my partner who also sings and now we're both obsessed with them. It makes singing easier and more effortless by creating back pressure and training the vocal chords without strain. Incredible product.. I'd recommend this to anyone who sings, professional or not. Just get it, best $70 ever spent.
