This is the best price for the most product I've seen. I ordered from a competitor, but they substituted black pepper for white! There is no comparison, white pepper has a delicate taste and flavor, it doesn't make me sneeze. I shopped several big stores that carry products like this, yet Amazon was the only one with this spice.

Whoa. This white pepper is fresh. When a recipe calls for white pepper is is expressing a singular flavor black pepper does not yield. Sometimes both black and white pepper is in the same recipe. I would say to use half or 3/4 of what the recipe calls for if your pepper is mighty fresh like this white pepper is, of go full blast and serve up a lot of water at the table. The best pepper for a pepper grinder is the multi color pepper variety. Each color pepper has a distinctive taste. Multi color in a grinder is the mother of all worlds.

I use this in many of my Chinese meals. Adds great flavors to your dish.

Husband loves his spices and this is cheap and a large amount of spice.
