I love these things
I have bought several of these display cases and they do take some finesse to assemble. The most important thing to know - you, who has just bought one of these for yourself and who is considering leaving a bad comment because you can't get the dang thing together - the most important thing for you to know is to use a mallet, or other blunt but yielding hammering instrument. Consider a rolling pin? The acrylic tabs do fit, but they need some sturdy thumping to be convinced they want to live in there.I recommend attaching all the clear walls to the bottom, slotting the door in place, lining up the wooden top, then thumping away. I've done four of these now and it's pretty smooth going.

Not well made
When assembled the glass walls don’t fit properly and the glass door doesn’t stay on and keeps falling off. The wooden frame is also not sanded down properly so assembling it gave me splinters and now I have to sand it down myself. This was a present for my little sister and it’s very upsetting how I paid so much for something that was poorly made :(

Don’t bother……very disappointed for the price
I bought two of these and I should have read the reviews first. Once I cleaned all the sawdust up and tried to smooth the edges I tried to put it together and the slots don’t fit. No matter how you flip and turn and push, the damn thing doesn’t go together because the tabs on the acrylic pieces don’t fit into the slots in the wood. If you have woodworking tools then you might get it to go together. Now I have a bunch of useless wood and acrylic and still no place to put my collections. I expect a lot more for the price. To finish drilling it out and sanding I would pay maybe $10 for this.

Worth the Assembly Challenges
Advice: Use a rubber mallet to careful bang the wood onto the plexiglass. My finish project looks spectacular, with lighted calcite crystals clams & polished gems arranged creatively!

Not reliable
The package came late and the glass was scratched and there was a piece of the wood that was messed up and looked like it was damaged and I had to putty that part and it looked good but when I ioen thr case door it falls apart.

No assembly instructions/ Pieces to not fit together
This was purchased as part of a Christmas present for my spouse. There are no assembly instructions with the pieces. The pieces don't fit into the openings that seem to be for them. It is a waste of money and time.

A nice inexpensive display case
The only thing I disliked about this display case was that it wasn't easy to put together. The holes in the wood were too small for the acrylic walls to fit in so I had to use a drill to make them a little wider. They still didn't fit just right but it will do for now.
