This kit was great. It was so easy to use; just add water. shake well! The table cover was heavy duty. The elastics were heavy duty and plenty for our use. The gloves included are fine but really large. I got some smaller medical gloves for kids. The bottles were nice bottles and did not leak. The caps push on securely, which does make it tough for little children to replace. This kit states up to 36 projects. I believe it could do 38, if you were doing socks or bandanas. I believe you could do approximately 20 t shirts youth to adult medium, if you didn’t want specific colors. I liked that there is 2 yellow, 2 blue, and 2 red, 2 pink. There is a great selection of colors without having to mix colors. However there is only one black and one green. The bottles are 4 ounces. I bought 2 kits to make sure every kid had the color they wanted. We had several boys, so I knew black specifically would be popular. One kit , but minus a couple specific colors went completely unused and the other kit 1/2 the bottlers still contained half the dye or more after dying 11 t shirts. Of course the T-shirts are not included. After rinsing and washing the colors are color fast. It was a huge hit for our 4-H club.

This kit was great! Be careful with the dye because it will get everywhere. Definitely use the gloves or your hands will stain. If it gets on countertops, dish soap and water worked for me as long as I cleaned it quickly. We did dry dyeing and it turned out really well. If the shirt is wet when you apply the dye, it creates more of a blended, bleeding look. The bottles sizes were decent as well and they were easy to mix the dye. My daughter needed shirts for school, so we got them done quickly. We dyed them around 7 pm and started washing them the next morning. Make sure to rinse them first before putting them in the washer. Rinse from cold to hot until the water runs clear, then wash on cold and dry lightly. I ended up hanging them while they were still slightly damp. There were a lot of color options and everything you needed to get started. I liked that it included a table cover and extra gloves. Make sure to read all the directions and just have fun with it. We made three shirts and they all turned out great. It was a fun project that my daughter and I really enjoyed. I recommend having a few extra shirts on hand in case the designs don’t turn out how you expect since tie-dye can be unpredictable. Lastly the case is a nice added bonus, it is great to store all the extra items when you have completed the project.

I've been using Tulip products for years and they work great. Tulip says you don't need to presoak items in soda ash. I disagree. I find you get a better end product if you do presoak items. Colors faded and ran. Once I started presoaking the difference was colors stayed bright and no more colors running. AnneMarie

Great easy tie dye set! Has a lot of colors and bottle! I only used maybe 6 bottles at a time because we didn’t need to do a lot of items. Easy to use and you just fill up with water. Everything was vibrant and easy to wash too. Definitely wear gloves if you don’t want tie dye hands for a few days.

Super happy with the kit and the colors. Had everything needed and was very beginner friendly. Fun to do with little kids. I did also soak my shirts in soda ash first because I wanted my colors to be ask vibrant as possible.

wir haben das als Party-Action beim 8. Geburtstag unserer Tochter gemacht - es hat alles tadellos funktioniert, die Shirts sind sehr schön geworden, die Mädels waren begeistert. Ich würde allerdngs noch Kinderhandschuhe dazu empfehlen und Einweg-Plastikschürzen.

Great dyes! They have bright colours and stay well on the cotton t-shirt even after several washes. Note that i always prep the fabric with a soda ash bath before dying. I used those for the oce tye dye method and was very happy with the resuy. Therefore, i didn't use them diluted in water, but in powder form and then put ice cubes over it and let it sit overnight. Would definitely by again. This comes as a kit with rubber band, a table cover and gloves. As i use the powder dry i also recommend using a ffp2 mask to protect your lungs.
