The TKT Course Modules 1, 2 and 3

First of all, I must admit, I ordered this book because of all those favouravle reviews I read about it. It IS very helpful if you have to study for TKT. It's divided into three main sections (three modules) with a test at the end of each (which I loved). It also contains information on additional books that you are advised to read.

I use this book when I was studying at University I have to say the book is a must for the ESL teachers. Great and simple methodology and explanations, also good exercises and good unit-test. I am looking forward to develop this book once more so I can keep up with the teaching of the English as a Second Language.

This a great book to reviwe and practice for the TKT test and its 3 modules. I'm currently uaing this book in a course with other teachers and even the extra activities the book contains help us develop the skills needed for the test.

A good revision guide for the TKT Modules 1, 2, and 3. This book provided a thorough training for the TKT course, covering all three modules. I liked this book.

Just started my teachers training education to become an English teacher in Europe - it is a helpful and great book. I've never liked didactics as much as with TKT!!!

Das Buche enthält meiner Meinung nach das wichtigste, was man über Englisch-Didaktik wissen muss. Bin sehr zufrieden, musste es für mein Studium für die pädagogische Ausbildung kaufen.

I liked this product, because it is helpful to understand aspects of English. It is a great book to reference and would help any other English teacher.

The first few modules were confusing, as it assumed I already knew all about the different tenses and parts of speech. They were more reviews to say "you need to know this" than they were teaching chapters, which is ok, as it is a book to prepare you for an exam, but other portions of the book seemed to actually teach. Basically, I'm not quite sure if it was meant to be support material or teaching text. I was also confused throughout the phonology section of the book until I remembered that it was written in the UK and it was therefore teaching UK pronunciation and use of IPA. Before this realization, it gave me something of a panic attack because I thought it was telling me how to use IPA in a way quite different from what I had been taught. Although parts of the book are confusing, other parts of it are interesting and packed with good material. It was solidly written in a technical sense (though with some superfluous use of "e.g."), which is appropriate for a book on TESOL. I'm definitely glad I bought it, but it would be easier to use along with an instructor, rather than on your own.
